Every day, she is referring candidates with up-to-date tech skills and certifications to training programs, events, and direct-hire opportunities at employers looking to hire tech talent. And she\u2019s ready to work with you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI can direct a pipeline of candidates to you for any technical training and apprenticeship programs you may have. I can also look for candidates to refer to you for any entry- to mid-level career opportunities,\u201d Wright said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-energized-by-helping-job-seekers-work-in-tech\">Energized By Helping Job Seekers Work in Tech<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For Wright, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hiringourheroes.org\/career-services\/education-networking\/next-step-vets-tech\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Next Step Vets<\/a> is her passion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before joining Hiring Our Heroes, Wright worked with the transition assistance program at Hurlburt Field\u2019s Airman and Family Readiness Center in Florida. She was also a military spouse employment program manager.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThrough that experience, I realized I was most energized when I was assisting service members and spouses find work in tech,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through that experience, I realized I was most energized when I was assisting service members and spouses find work in tech.<\/p>\n<cite>Barrett Wright, Hiring Our Heroes<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wright researched programs offered by HOH like the Salesforce Fellowship Program and Career Forward. She found other apprenticeships and training programs available to veterans and military spouses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cPrograms like Salesforce are such amazing opportunities, so I wanted to learn more.
